Quick Tips for Consistency

  • Set a regular, realistic schedule (even 10–15 minutes daily builds progress)
  • Keep a simple log of exercises and how you feel after each session
  • Mix in restorative days with gentle, longer holds to aid recovery
  • Pair yoga with light walking or stretching for a balanced routine

Sample Near-Term Plan (2 Weeks)

  • Week 1: 3×15-minute sessions focusing on breath and foundational poses
  • Week 2: 4×15–20 minute sessions introducing a longer Savasana and a couple of new balances
  • Assess comfort level and gradually extend holds or add a challenging pose if desired

Common Modifications

  • Use a strap to lengthen reach in forward folds
  • Practice with knees bent in Downward-Facing Dog to protect the lower back
  • Rest in Child’s Pose anytime you need to reset
