Salt-N-Pepa is an American hip-hop group formed in New York City in 1985. Group members included Salt, Pepa, and DJ Spinderella. Their first major hit single, “Push It”, was released in 1987 as the B-side to a different single, becoming a top 10 or top 20 hit in various countries worldwide.
