Classicy Garlic Pasta- Servings: 4

Ingredients
- 400 g spaghetti
- 2 tbsp olive
- cloves garlic, minced
cup heavy cream-1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese - Salt black pepper, to taste
- parsley, choppedoptional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti until al dente, according to package instructions.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn.
- Pour in the heavy cream. Simmer for 3– minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
- Reserve a cup of pasta water, drain the spaghetti. Add the pasta to the skillet, to with the sauce. Stir in Parmesan cheese and a splash of reserved pasta water if needed reach desired consistency. Season salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped parsley if using and serve immediately.
Tips
- Use the reserved pasta to adjust sauce thickness and help it to the noodles.
- For a lighter version substitute half and half for part of the cream.
