Lemon Garlic Roasted Chicken

A flavorful, easy-to-make roasted chicken with bright lemon, aromatic garlic, and herbs. Perfect for a family dinner or Sunday meal prep.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken (about 3–4 lb / 1.4–1.8 kg), patted dry- 2 lemons, one sliced one for juice
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
    -2 tablespoons olive oil
  • teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 tablespoon thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
