Classic Creamy Garlic Pasta

Ingredients
- 200 g spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Parmesan
- Salt freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil Add the spaghetti and cook according to package directions until alente. Reserve1/ cup of cooking water, then drain.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Cook for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Stir the cheese until melted and the sauce thickens. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of the reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.

Tips
