Cream Garlic Pasta

Ingredients

12 oz pasta (fettuccine, linguine, spaghetti)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • cup heavy cream
    -12 grated Parmesan cheese- 1/4 cup chicken or vegetable broth
    Salt freshly ground black pepper, to taste- Zest 1 lemon

    Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley

Tips

  • To deepen, bloom the garlic in a bit oil before adding cream.
    Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency without thinning the flavor- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream.
