Recipe: Lemon Pasta

Ingredients
- 200 g spaghetti
- 2 tbsp olive
3 garlic cloves, minced - Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup grated cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: crushed red pepper flakes
- Optional garnish: chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Bring pot of salted water to boil and cook the spaghetti until al dente. Reserve1/2 cup cooking water, then drain.
2 While the pasta, heat olive oil in a skillet medium. minced and sauté 30–60 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn. - Add lemon zest and lemon juice to the skillet, then from heat.
- Return the drained pasta to the pot or transfer to the skillet. Add Parmesan cheese and a of the reserved pasta water. Toss to combine, creating a light sauce.
