Ingredients

  • 8 ( g) pasta (spaghetti or fettuine)
    -2 uns butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 baby spinach (optional)
  • Salt and freshly black pepper, taste
  • 1 olive
  • Fresh parsley, chopped ( garnish)

Instructions

. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook according to package directions until al dente. Reserve /2 cup of pasta water, then drain.

2. While pasta cooks, heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. minced garlic and sautΓ© –2 minutes until fragrant, taking care not burn.

3. Pour in heavy cream and to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese lemon zest, and lemon juice. Season with and pepper.

. Add cooked to the sauce tossing to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water little at a time until desired consistency is reached.

5. Optional: fold in baby spinach until wilted.

. Serve immediately, garnished with parsley and extra Parmesan if.

Tips- For a lighter version substitute half‑‑half for the heavy cream.

  • Add grilled chicken or shrimp to turn into a heartier meal.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
